Alleged Southern Ontario Gang Drug Trafficker Arrested Again

(THUNDER BAY, ON) – The Thunder Bay Police Service’s Intelligence Unit arrested and charged a Hamilton man on Dec. 18, 2018 following an investigation into bail violations.

The accused was previously charged with drug-related offences in June of 2018 and was released with conditions at that time.

Adrian PUENTES-REED appeared in court on Wednesday, Dec. 19 where he was formally charged with:

  • Failing to Comply with Condition Recognizance.

He was remanded into custody with a future court date of Jan. 10, 2019.

The TBPS responded to call for service at a residence in the 100 block of Ruttan Street just before noon on June 15, 2018.

The responding patrol officers observed a handgun, suspected drugs and cash in the residence. An immediate search of the residence resulted in the arrest of two males. The residence was secured awaiting a search warrant to seize the items located within the residence.

Members of the TBPS Intelligence Unit executed the search warrant on the residence at 8:30 p.m. on June 15, 2018. A large quantity of Oxycodone pills, Hydromorph pills, Marihuana and Cocaine were located along with a large sum of Canadian Currency and handguns with ammunition.

Kalid Yousef, 26 years old of Edmonton, Alberta and Adrian Myles Puentes-Reed, 25 years old of Hamilton, Ontario have each been charges with:
• Possession of Property Obtained by Crime over $5000
• Possession for the Purpose of Trafficking x4
• Careless Storage of a Firearm x4
• Unauthorized Possession of a Firearm x4
• Possession a Prohibited Weapon

  1. jesus, send them out of our town now!!! lock them up forever there basically killing people selling them drugs…something drastic needs to be done here. we need these gang punks dealt with…. they are putting our loved ones lives in danger.

These scum bags have been arrested not more then 45days ago it it was said with a ankle bracelet the lighter skin wannabe rapper was to reside with his dad out of province. Look at this here he is drugs money and guns.Tbays house values have dropped in the tank our kids cant even play ball hockey in the streets and seniors are afraid to do their shopping in fear of being robbed and hurt.Another detroit tbay is well on its way. The citizen’s of tbay and area need to hold block meetings and take a stand all over and on e ery block. Enough is enough.
