The court hears he is being arrested for Human Trafficking in Thunder Bay on 2 women and receiving financial benefit from the human trafficking.

A warrant was issued for his arrest February 26,2018. Its alleged that he advertised 2 women on the internet in June of 2017 and received financial compensation for being a Pimp.

Despite the fact that he was wanted by TBPS with these serious charges, The Director of Communications at TBPS did not issue a wanted poster for these very serious charges. In fact, he hasnโ€™t done a media release in over a week. He receives $130 000 taxpayer dollars to notify the public. Notifying the public about human traffickers in Thunder Bay just isnโ€™t a priority.

DURETTE is ordered not to contact his victims. The Crown is refusing to consent to his release. He also has outstanding criminal charges in Barrie with a court date of January 30, 2019.

DURETTE TELLS THE COURT THAT โ€œI stopped f**king (victim name) in January 2018.

Her Worship warns Durette not to say any more.

Another great job by Thunder Bay Police Service working with Barrie Police Service.

  1. TBPS Executive Officer and media relations person Chris Adams is a waste of taxpayers money in a police force with too many chiefs and not enough front line officers. For a supposed media type he is not well spoken and does a very poor job of communication. Many police forces including the RCMP and OPP typically have lower ranking constables or corporals as media persons but here we are with a guy who is paid the same as an Inspector and has never served a day on the front line as a police officer representing the TBPS.
