Well, International Mother Language Day (IMLD) is a worldwide annual observance held on 21 February to promote awareness of linguistic and cultural diversity and promote multilingualism to commemorate the sacrifice of Bengali people who sacrificed their life to protect their language and cultureโค๏ธ

  1. umm no.

welcome to Canada. We have 2 official languages in this country (1 too many) so if you want to celebrate something do it on your own time on your own personal property.

  2. Beautiful idea! A strong message of positivity towards diversity in all forms. Most of us have a mother tongue – it could be Italian, polish, Urdu, Ukrainian, Anishinabek, French or even for some of us, like myself, English. We are a country built on diversity. This is our strength. I like how this poster reminds us that our cultural differences can in fact bring us together. No matter where our ancestors hailed from, we are all human beings worthy of love and respect.

    1. Diversity come from diverse. That means DIVIDED. Being divided is never a strength despite how many times fools love to repeat that ridiculous catch phrase the truth is its just not true.

      Sorry. Thanks for playing.

  3. Definition of diversity
1 : the condition of having or being composed of differing elements : VARIETY
especially : the inclusion of different types of people (such as people of different races or cultures) in a group or organization
programs intended to promote diversity in schools
2 : an instance of being composed of differing elements or qualities : an instance of being diverse
    a diversity of opinion

  4. Dear Walter,

In the interest of the principle of diversity, and as an ardent supporter of multiculturalism, free speech, freedom of expression, the charter of rights and freedoms, MAGA, the Magna Carta, etc etc, yada yada (I do love a manifesto! They stir the idealism in us all!) I will fight to my very death for the inalienable right of internet trolls such as yourself to hide out under the bridge, pop out unexpectedly from time to time, and be a general nuisance and pain in the ass.

I embrace you, brother Walt; thanks for the laughs. We should catch up over brewskis some day. DIVISION is not a given in these multiculti circumstances. There are always alternatives.

    Chi miigwetch, buddy!

    1. Troll?? You bet and you took the bait like a fool. You see, you’ve shown all of us that really you only support diversity as long as you agree with it. You do not support or value anybody’s opinions which differ from your own. You laughingly showed us all the true meaning of a hypocrite… and a bottom feeding sucker fish at the same time. Keep up the good work! haha!!! LOL!!!
