(THUNDER BAY, ON) – A massive police presence involving the Thunder Bay Police Service uniformed officers and the Emergency Task Unit (ETU) is taking place at a north side address.
Numerous police vehicles, about eight of them, are all over Secord Street and have the section between Ambrose and Pearl closed to traffic.
The attention seems to be on a grey building while we were there, with flashlights being pointed at the residence. Armed officers were seen standing in multiple groups along the street.
We are not 100% certain what is going on, but it smells like a drug bust with a chance of standoff at this time.
This is not the same building where the infamous situation linked in the article below took place, but it is one block away and possibly linked.
