Notorious woman arrested yet again while on bail.

(FORT FRANCES, ON) โ€“ On Monday January 28, 2019, at 11:15 am, members of the Rainy River District Detachment of the Ontario Provincial Police, (OPP), with the assistance of the Community Street Crime Unit conducted a traffic stop for a Highway Traffic Act infraction in the Town of Fort Frances.

As a result a 29 year old female from Dryden Ontario was arrested at the scene and transported to the Fort Frances Detachment.

Katlynd CRONLEY-POLKINGHORNE faces several charges under The Highway Traffic Act, one charge under The Compulsory Automobile Insurance Act, she was also charged with:

  • Personation with Intent contrary to section 403(1)(d) Criminal code.
  • Two counts of Failing to Comply with Recognizance contrary to section 145(3) Criminal code.
  • Possession of Property obtained by Crime contrary to section 355(b) Criminal Code
  • Possession of a Controlled Substance contrary to section 4(1) of the Controlled Drugs and Substance Act

The accused was released on a Promise to Appear and is bound to appear at the Ontario Court of Justice in Fort Frances on February 19, 2019 in answer to the charges.

(DRYDEN, ON) โ€“ย On August 20, 2018, just after midnight the Dryden Police Service stopped a vehicle outside a residence on Colonization Ave for a Highway Traffic Act violation.

During the traffic stop police detained the male passenger who was immediately arrested for having in his possession a can of pepper spray, which is a prohibited device under the Criminal Code.

At the time the male passenger was arrested the female driver began to interfere and obstruct police in their duties.

The female was also arrested for Obstruct Police and Assaulting a Police Officer.

A subsequent search of the vehicle lead to the seizure of a quantity of Cocaine, Crystal Meth, Ritalin, knives, and Canadian currency.

Katlynd Dawn CRONLEY-POLKINGHORNE, 29 years old of Wabigoon, Ontario is facing the following charges:

  • Three counts of Trafficking
  • Three counts of Possession for the Purpose of Trafficking in Cocaine, Methamphetamines and Ritalin,
  • Possession of Property Obtained by Crime
  • 2 counts of Fail to Comply with Court Orders, Obstruct Police, Assault Police
  • Numerous offences under the Highway Traffic Act.

Charles Keirron Blake CHIEF โ€“ 32 years old of Dryden is charged with:

  • Three counts of Trafficking
  • Three counts of Possession for the Purpose of Trafficking in Cocaine, Methamphetamines and Ritalin
  • Possession of Property Obtain by Crime
  • Possession of a Prohibited device for having the pepper spray.

(DRYDEN, ON) โ€“ On November 07, 2018 at approximately 8:30 p.m. officers from the Organized Crime Enforcement Bureau, Community Street Crime Unit and the Dryden Police Service executed a Controlled Drugs and Substances Act search warrant on a Dryden residence.

Police seized 31 grams of Methamphetamine, drug trafficking materials, Canadian currency and a prohibited weapon.

39-year-old William WALMSLEY (pictured above), of Dryden, ON was arrested and charged with:

  • Possession of a Schedule I substance for the purpose of Trafficking โ€“ Methamphetamine
  • Possession of a Schedule I Substance โ€“ Cocaine
  • Unauthorized Possession of a Weapon
  • Possession of Property Obtained by Crime Under $5000
  • Fail to Comply with a Recognizance.

29-year-old Katlynd CRONLEY-POLKINGHORNE (pictured above), of Wabigoon, ON was arrested and charged with:

  • Possession of a Schedule I Substance โ€“ Cocaine
  • Fail to comply with a Recognizance.

Both accused are being held in custody and will appear in the Ontario Court of Justice on the 14 November 2018.

MORE ABOUT WILLIAM WALMSLEY

On March 10, 2018 Dryden Police were conducting a RIDE Program on Earl Ave when police encountered a car with open liquor. During the investigation, police also found a quantity of marihuana, cocaine and a set of Brass Knuckles inside the car that are identified as a Prohibit Weapon under the Criminal Code.

All four accused were arrested and taken into custody where they were later released on a Promise to Appear and to abide by conditions of an Undertaking. The accused are facing the following charges and will appear in Dryden Court on April 30th, 2018:

Tara DOWSWELL HOURIE โ€“ 24 years old of Oxdrift, Ontario โ€“ Possession of a Schedule 1 substance for the purpose of Trafficking S. 5(2) CDSA; Possession of a Schedule II substance โ€“ Cannabis Marihuana โ€“ under 30 grams S. 4(1) CDSA; Possession of a prohibited device or ammunition S. 92(2) CC

Dakota DEROSSIER โ€“ 24 years old of Wabigoon, Ontario โ€“ Possession of a Schedule 1 substance for the purpose of Trafficking s. 5(2) CDSA; Possession of a device or ammunition S. 92(2) CC.

  1. Released on $7.00 bail and a pinkie swear to be good. Man, being honest doesnโ€™t pay. Our system is a joke. Why not be a criminal, no consequences for your actions. If this was the states, these people would be in jail. Maybe we need to privatize our prisons too.
