(THUNDER BAY, ON) – WOMAN WANTED ON DRUG WARRANTS BY THUNDER BAY POLICE ARRESTED AFTER ASSAULT WITH A KNIFE.
ANOTHER CASE IT SEEMS OF THE DIRECTOR OF COMMUNICATIONS AT TBPS FAILING TO NOTIFY PUBLIC ABOUT WANTED PEOPLE.
A 22 year old BROOKE HARDY appeared by video in W.A.S.H. (Weekend And Statutory Holiday) Court) today, Saturday February 2,2019 from the Thunder Bay Police Station.
His Worship, Marcel Donio is presiding. Federal Crown Arturo Acosta and Provincial Crown Derrick Silvestro are here along with Duty Counsel Joy Wakefield.
HARDY was arrested by Thunder Bay Police last evening after an alleged assault with a knife. Court hears that she has 2 outstanding drug charges that she had arrest warrants for.
She was just sentenced on May 2,2018 for other charges and is alleged to be breaching her probation as well as an undertaking. She also has a weapons prohibition which is an additional charge.
No word on injuries to the victim.
HARDY will be transferred to the Correctional Center and make a video appearance from there on Tuesday.
