(THUNDER BAY, ON) – This winter has had a seemingly reoccurring theme throughout which appears to be vehicles ending up on snowbanks.
Another vehicle has ended up on a snowbank at a busy north side intersection during the drive at five, otherwise known as “rush hour”.
Our source at the scene is not positive, but speculated that the vehicle could not stop for whatever reason and decided to ride the snowbank instead of smashing into the vehicle at the light.
You can see some damage on the front driver’s side of the SUV which suggests it made contact with another vehicle.
Police are expected to arrive on the scene shortly.
Last night, another vehicle was found on a snowbank in the cities south end. A white car ended up nose first on a snowbank on Gore Street.

Drive safe Thunder Bay, keep a safe distance back from the vehicle in front of you so that you can stop in time, even if it’s suddenly icy.
