YA, YOU GUESSED IT, THE DIRECTOR OF COMMUNICATIONS AT TBPS NEVER BOTHERED TO TELL THE PUBLIC HE WAS WANTED.
Appearing this morning, Sunday February 17,2019 via video from the Thunder Bay Police Station in Bail Courtroom 104 is 21 year old ROBERT DOGGETT.
DOGGETT appears wearing a blue zip up hoodie and what appears to be a very large black eye
It’s W.A.S.H. (Weekend And Statutory Holiday) Court today. Her Worship, Justice of the Peace Zelda Kitchekeesic is presiding. Provincial Crown Franceline Auclair is here along with Duty Counsel Marilyn Thompson.
DOGGETT’s crime spree came to another end yesterday after a break, enter and theft in the 2500 block of Government Road. He was out on bail when this latest crime occurred. He allegedly had a stolen motor vehicle and assaulted 2 police officers by fighting. Also facing a charge of resist.
Inside Edition sources indicate that late last evening, DOGGETT went to the Government Road home around 9:30 and visited the people there. He was asked to leave and after an altercation, finally left. He later returned to the home and knew they were asleep in the home, but decided to try and gain entry through three different doors and was unsuccessful.
He then smashed out the patio door. A resident of the home woke up and caught him rummaging through belongings.
The resident then argued with the intruder to leave for sometime before he finally left.
DOGGETT then stole the homeowner’s work vehicle to go on a joyride and got caught a short time later with a female occupant who ran and it’s unknown if she was caught.
DOGGETT was released from jail in October 2018. He allegedly failed to report to probation.
He’s facing 2 breach charges for contacting a victim.
And another breach for failing to remain in his residence during required curfew hours of 9pm to 6am.
He has 2 outstanding assault charges and a mischief charge as well as a stolen motor vehicle charge from November 2017.
Despite all these crimes and warrants, the Director of Communications at TBPS did nothing to tell the public. ABSOLUTELY NOTHING.
DOGGETT finds out the Marilyn Thompson is Duty Counsel and wisely declines to speak with her.
DOGGETT is heading to the Thunder Bay Jail and will make a video appearance on Tuesday February 19,2019.
