(RED ROCK, ON) – NIPIGON OPP ARREST 17 YEAR OLD RED ROCK TEENAGER FOR BREACHING BAIL RELEASE CONDITIONS.

TEEN MADE SEVERAL DEATH THREATS TO STAFF AND STUDENTS AT TWO SCHOOLS.

Appearing by telephone from the Nipigon OPP station this morning, Thursday February 28,2019 is a 17 year old Young Offender of Red Rock, Ontario.

Her Worship, Justice of the Peace Jennifer Neil is presiding. Crown Attorney Derrick Silvestro and Duty Counsel Patricia Vo are present.

The Red Rock teen is at the Police Station with his parents.

The teen is alleged to have made death threats to staff and students at two Red Rock schools – Saint Hilary Catholic Elementary School and Nipigon Red Rock District High School on February 12,2019. He’s facing 6 criminal charges from that incident.

The teen was released from custody 5 days ago and is now allegedly breaching conditions.

Crown Attorney Derrick Silvestro has serious concerns about parental supervision of this teen and is not consenting to release. The youth is being transported to a Thunder Bay facility and will appear in Thunder Bay Bail Court tomorrow. The youth and parents will need to present a satisfactory bail plan if the teen is to be released.

Local taxpayer subsidized media has not reported this to public.

  1. Wonder what other schools he sent threats to. Because it’s a minor you can’t publish the name. That’s where social media kicks in and word spreads fast. Thanks for reporting this to the public Pino.
