UPDATED: Knife Point Store Robbery


(THUNDER BAY, ON) โ€“ย A store in the 0-100 block of Cumberland Street South was robbed this evening.


People in the area have told TRCCTB.COM that a male entered the store wielding a knife. The suspect made off with an undisclosed amount of loot shortly after 8:00 pm this evening.

We have been told that H&R block was broken into from a rear door and an employee was held at knife point until money was handed over. The perpetrator is described as an Indigenous male wearing a ball cap and a grey hoodie.

We were told that the employee sustained an undisclosed injury to their head area. The victim was taken to the hospital by ambulance.
