  1. Age of consent is 16 years old.. if youโ€™re old enough to make those adult choices, then why are crimes not held in the same regard? Both could end in poor choices that stick with you the rest of your life.

  2. The young offenders act is a license for youth to commit crime and many know it and take advantage of the legal loophole. Its time that it is scrapped, and that these perps are exposed and charged to the full extent of the law.

    1. Before judging , Look at the Adult Examples ,teachers are molesting kinds behind the cloaks of servants religious predators are teaching by habit Parents are absent or addicted , Many kinds are confused and think they are responsible for taking care of addicted Parents .Rehab works punishments dehumanize creating hardened criminals.

  3. It is sad that a 12 year old goes to these extremes. Back in the day children this age were out playing with their friends and having fun. What fun is there in running around with a knife threatening people I put the blame on the parents because apparently they do not have enough sense to teach these kind of children right from wrong. With so many parents on drugs now a days the children get no kind of upbringing at all. Hopefully it is not to late for this child to get the counceling that he needs. He is still young enough to be rehabilitated so he does not grow up to be a hardened criminal or killer. I feel sorry for this young boy as this is probably the only kind of life he has had is violence. Hopefully he will be put in a home where he can grow and learn how to be a good citizen in his community. Loving your children is not enough now a days they have to be taught and encouraged to be a strong individual with the knowing of right from wrong. I wish this child the best of luck and hopefully he will learn how to live a normal life with no violence. This is just my opinion.
