🍀🍀ST. PATRICK’S DAY EDITION🍀🍀
FORMER THUNDER BAY MAYORAL CANDIDATE JAMES “JIM” GAMBLE ARRESTED AND CHARGED BY THUNDER BAY POLICE WITH CRIMINAL HARASSMENT OF FORMER CITY COUNCILLOR CANDIDATE.
AS PER USUAL PRACTICE, NO NOTIFICATION TO PUBLIC FROM THE DIRECTOR OF COMMUNICATIONS AT TBPS OR FROM LOCAL TAXPAYER SUBSIDIZED MEDIA.
A 63 year old JAMES GAMBLE was arrested yesterday afternoon, Saturday March 16, 2019 by our hardworking Thunder Bay Police Officers. He can barely walk or speak and is unable to stand up straight. He has a large bald patch on his head that resembles the white stripe on a skunk.
GAMBLE is charged with criminal harassment on former City Councillor candidate Lori Paras causing her to be in fear of her safety.
Sources indicate that Gamble had a full Gatorade bottle of whiskey. And was wearing St Patrick’s Day glasses and green beads. Witnesses state he was under the influence of alcohol. He was arrested in front of Trixx on May Street.
GAMBLE was released on a 200$ no deposit bail this morning by His Worship, Justice of the Peace Marcel Donio. He’s ordered not to contact Lori Paras.
GAMBLE has a future court date of April 9, 2019.
PREVIOUS HARASSMENT HISTORY
JAMES GAMBLE’S run for mayor in 2006 failed miserably and didn’t gain enough traction to even get 10% of the votes. The following year he also found himself in some legal trouble when he was charged with CRIMINAL HARASSMENT, ASSAULT, UTTERING THREATS, INTIMIDATION, and FAILING TO COMPLY WITH BAIL CONDITIONS.
These charges followed complaints lodged by a 42-year-old woman.
Gamble was eventually acquitted on 3 of the charges but found GUILTY of CRIMINAL HARASSMENT and BREACH OF A COURT ORDER.
Gamble has also said on social media that he “would do it again”.
GAMBLE was recently removed from the Facebook group “The REAL Concerned Citizens of Thunder Bay” for harassment-like behaviour towards female members and admin.
*** UPDATE JUNE 8th, 2018: GAMBLE has officially filed to run for the mayors office.
