On Tuesday March 19,2019 just before 1am, a badly beaten, unresponsive female was found on the bike path by the Landmark Inn in the County Park area

Inside Edition sources indicate the woman was beaten so badly that she was unrecognizable.

After the 911 call was made, first responders arrived on the scene and found the victim barely clinging to life.

The person was sent the to Thunder Bay Regional Health Sciences Centre and was pronounced dead by the doctor in the Emergency Department.

ANDY had recently moved to Thunder Bay from the Fort Frances area and had been staying at the Shelter House recently.

A postmortem examination is being conducted on TANYA ANDY to determine the exact cause of death and her family has been notified.

  1. WOW how sad it is that we have another murder in Thunder Bay. A young woman just moved here and is now dead such an awful ending to such a young life. Condolences to her family may she R.I.P.
