(THUNDER BAY, ON) – A woman is the victim of an aggressive incident that took place on Picton Ave today.
After escaping her aggressors, she made her way to the Shoppers Drug Mart on Red River and Junot.
The woman was overheard telling passersby about injuries sustained to her arm/hand and head during the attack. One person believes she may have been held captive but was too nervous to report that to authorities. A 911 call was made which resulted in two police cruisers and an ambulance to respond to the scene.
The late 20’s female victim was taken to hospital with non-life threatening injuries. She is expected to make a full recovery regarding her physical injuries.
