(THUNDER BAY, ON) – After numerous threats have been made which resulted in Hammarskjold High School closing multiple times, Superior CVI closing down once and numerous schools and daycares being placed into a “hold and secure”, the reward set out initally by the Lakehead Public Schools for $5000 and Crime Stoppers adding another $1000 through their own program, has ballooned now to over $10,000.

The City with the Giant Heart continues to demonstrate incredible and generous support for our students and staff.
The reward for the capture and conviction of those responsible for the ongoing threats to schools has now grown to $10,700.
