(THUNDER BAY, ON) – Another day and another flail-show from the South Algoma Flailer. Residents in the community are concerned with the impact their children will endure seeing this behaviour.
This woman, untreated and unchecked for what appears to be a drug abuse induced flail will surely have her health decline over time. If you have a family member with an active drug addiction, please take note that this and worse is how they may end up. Encourage recovery.
From what multiple sources in the neighbourhood have said is that this woman is a daily occurrence in this area, but she isn’t the only one. There seems to be an issue with people flailing out in public, where little children can see them. That is when their addiction issue isn’t only harming themselves, but now it is harming others, including children. Keep your drug use and flailing indoors, please.
There are random flailers that flail through that part of town, possibly only flailing in the moment from drugs that they purchased and used in the area.
If anyone knows this woman, please reach out to her and see if she is ready to change her life for the better. We also wouldn’t mind hearing from anyone that knows her directly to get her story and some more information.
The area of town is home to numerous drug houses loaded with drug dealers supplying addicts with the drug of their choice. We have been told that within a 5-minute walk from this location you can acquire just about any drug. Police will raid a drug house and within a week to a month another one opens up down the street.
How can we mitigate the new trend of people flailing about around town? Leave your thoughts in the comment section.
Do you flail out when you’re doing hard drugs? Do you want to sober up and stop scaring everyone around you with your flail/drug abuse? Reach out to the Thunder Bay Counselling Centre at 807-684-1880 and ask them about how you can break the cycle of addiction.
Below is the video of the woman in question on today’s flail. If you have footage of any flailers out in public view, send it into our newsroom at email@example.com.
