(THUNDER BAY, ON) – A brief but stinging power outage rocked through a portion of the city this evening.
Residents across multiple areas of town reported anywhere from a short flicker doodle to a few minutes without any power.
Synergy North (the new name Thunder Bay Hydro changed to) has been tight lipped on the situation, as no posts to any social media or their outage map have explained the issue.
A REAL Concerned Citizen tells TRCCTB.COM that they seen something “blow” in the area of The Persian Man on Central Ave. The power went out for a few minutes but was restored thereafter.
Power was also reported to be completely out, at least temporarily, at the intersection of the Harbour Expressway and Balmoral and in the Academy area.
Power seems to be back on city-wide as no other residents have reported power still being out.
Ensure your smartphones, tablets and laptops are fully charged in case of an extended loss of power. This will enable you to check our website and remain informed of what is blowing and buzzing around town.
