(KENORA, ON) Members of the Kenora Detachment of the Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) have charged a local male with property crimes that were committed in Kenora.
On Thursday, May 31, 2019 members of the Kenora OPP Detachment and Kenora Crime Unit executed a search warrant at a residence on the north side of the city and located several stolen items.
Some of the property located in the warrant was property stolen from a nearby construction site that was reported to police on Saturday, May 25, 2019.
As a result of this investigation, 32-year-old Paul LEROUX, of Kenora has been charged with:
- Possession of Stolen Property Obtained by Crime under $5,000 x 4.
- Possession of Stolen Property Obtained by Crime over $5,000.
The accused is to appear in Kenora Court on Friday, May 31, 2019 to answer to the charges.
