(THUNDER BAY, ON) – Some rural roads around Thunder Bay and surrounding area have fallen victim to the rain fall experienced today.
Highway 595 south of Highway 608 is currently flooded and not recommended for passage. (pictured, credit Shannon Vanlenthe).
Nolalu Fire Rescue and First Response are urging motorists to use caution on the roads today as they have multiple reports of localized flooding and road washouts.
Highway 588 between Whitefish River and Silvaggio Road is having issues and recommended to go around.
Old School Road just west of Leeper Road is impassible due to a damn breaking.
