Arson Suspected in Fatal Bethune House Fire

(THUNDER BAY, ON) โ€“ย The fatal house fire at 312 Bethune is being investigated by the Thunder Bay Police Service.

Chris Witzell lost his life that morning in the supposed to be vacant unit. He died from smoke inhalation.

Numerous people who knew Chris wanted more answers. TRCCTB.CON has obtained some more details.

Witzell was found in a bedroom. There was a gas can located in the units kitchen. Arson is highly suspected.

The family continues to grieve the loss of Witzell.
