Reward Offered for Murder Investigation

(DRYDEN, ON) – Exactly one year ago today, Henry STONE-ARNOLD, 28-years-old, was seen for the last time. On August 17, 2018, Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) officers located human remains on a private property on Trist Road in Van Horne Township, just outside the City of Dryden, Ontario. The recovered remains were sent to the Ontario Forensic Pathology Service in Toronto where they were identified as Henry STONE-ARNOLD through post mortem examination.

The evidence collected and examined during the autopsy, and the evidence collected through the police investigation, indicates that Henry STONE-ARNOLD was murdered and that his body was intentionally damaged after his death.

During the past year, criminal investigators and other specialty units of the OPP have continued this homicide investigation. Under the direction of Detective Inspector Randy Heida of the OPP Criminal Investigation Branch, they have been working to identify the person or persons responsible for the murder of Henry STONE-ARNOLD.

Today, on the anniversary of the last day that he was seen, members of the OPP are again asking the public for any information that might help police solve this case.

The Government of Ontario is offering a $50,000 reward for information leading to the arrest and conviction of the person or persons responsible for the murder of Henry STONE-ARNOLD.

Speculation surrounding the murder is that it may have ties to a drug bust he was involved in (linked below).

  1. condolences to this man’s family hopefully this will give them some closure to the death and disappearance of their son and relative to all family members. It is sad that this has to be the way it ended no happy ending here for sure.
