Officers were dispatched to the Circle K convenience store at 915 Red River Road at about 10:45 p.m. on Sunday, Aug. 4 following reports of a robbery that had just occurred.
Police learned a male suspect entered the store armed with what appeared to be a long wooden handled ice scraper or garden edger. The accused approached the counter as the clerk was serving a customer and threatened the employee.
The customer and clerk then fled the store. Moments later the accused also fled.
