(SPANISH, ON) – On August 10, 2018, members from the East Algoma Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) were on patrol duties on Trunk Road in the Town of Spanish.
Shortly before 10:30 p.m., the officers observed a male walking southbound on Trunk Road. The male was walking all over the roadway, and nearly fell over multiple times.
The male was arrested and taken to Blind River Detachment where he was lodged until sober.
As a result of the investigation, Todd DESCHAMPS, 27 years of age, from Spanish, Ontario was issued a provincial offence notice and charged with:
- Being Intoxicated in Public Place, contrary to section 31(4) of the Liquor Licence Act.
