(THUNDER BAY, ON) – Numerous tips have been sent in to our newsdesk informing us of a very public overdose.
A woman was found unconscious at the intersection of Southern and Minnesota, lying on the side of the road in a twisted up mess.
When first responders arrived on the scene, narcan/naloxone was administered, according to people on scene.
First responders worked intensely on the woman for over 5 minutes before she was seen conscious and sitting up. Superior North EMS, Thunder Bay Fire Rescue and Thunder Bay Police Service were on scene.
Overdoses are reported to multiple times everyday, we hear about so many of them that we decided to only report on them every so often.
If you, or someone you know uses drugs, please speak to a pharmacist about how to get a naloxone kit for free. They will train you on how to use them as well.
