Stabbing Suspect Makes Bail, Allegedly Breaches Conditions

(THUNDER BAY, ON) – ANOTHER GOOD JOB BY THUNDER BAY POLICE TO ARREST THIS WOMAN AGAIN.

Appearing on Wednesday March 6,2019 by video from Thunder Bay Police Station is 45 year old HARRIET ASH.

Her Worship Jennifer Neil is presiding. Crown Attorney Sarah Munsch is here along with Duty Counsel Sharon Scharfe.

ASH was arrested last night for allegedly contacting the man she stabbed with a knife on January 16,2019 here in Thunder Bay.

The victim allegedly had an 8cm deep stab wound. ASH was arrested and released a couple day later on 200$ no deposit bail. ASH was under condition not to contact her victim. She is charged with breach of recognizance.

She is originally from Osnaburgh House but now lives in Thunder Bay.

DIRECTOR OF COMMUNICATIONS FAILED TO INFORM PUBLIC OF ORIGINAL STABBING.

ASH will meet with John Howard tomorrow to see if she is eligible to go live there. She has been transferred to the Correctional Center.
