Appearing this afternoon, Good Friday, Friday March 30,2018 via telephone from the Kenora OPP Station in Courtroom 104 is 20 year old NAOMI MUCKLE of Kenora who was arrested last night.
It’s W.A.S.H. (Weekend And Statutory Holiday) Court today. Her Worship, Zelda Kitchekeesik is presiding. Provincial Crown Jane Ann McGill is here along with Duty Counsel Lianne Roberge.
MUCKLE was arrested last evening by KENORA OPP for violating her bail conditions to stay away from the victims she’s allegedly assaulted. Court hears that Muckle was charge in February and March with 2 different assaults on 2 different victims. She allegedly went near one of her victims last evening when she’s been ordered to stay away. She has several assault convictions on her record.
Crown Attorney McGill is not consenting to her release.
Muckle is going to be held in Kenora jail and will be brought to Kenora Mental Health Court on Wednesday April 4,2018.
Muckle sounds very cheerful on the phone and says “Alright, it sounds like a plan”.
