(GREENSTONE, ON) – Officers with the Greenstone Ontario Provincial Police detachment investigated after reports of an assault had made their way to them.
29-year-old Jenny Jacobs found herself back behind bars this morning, as she was arrested and held in custody to appear for bail, for a second time this week.
Her Worship, Justice of the Peace Zelda Kitchekeesic was presiding along with Crown Attorney Manon Arbour and a duty counsel lawyer. Her new charges are:
- Assault with a weapon (toy car).
Just a few days ago she appeared in a Thunder Bay bail court via video link from the Greenstone OPP detachment for similar charges:
- Breaching probation.
- Failing to comply with bail conditions.
After some dicussions, the Crown and duty counsel determine that she is not going to be granted release today. She is ordered to remain in custody until her next court date, which is this Friday. She is likely to be released before the beer store closes on Friday.
