(THUNDER BAY, ON) – A concerning incident developed in the city’s north-side this evening.
A witness on location at the LCBO next to the Landmark, tells us that a man was hauled out of the LCBO’s walk in beer fridge by police.
Information from the scene tells us that the man pulled a knife on someone at the Wal-Mart in County Fair Plaza.
The man is said to have left Wal-Mart and made his way into the beer fridge at the nearby LCBO.
Once police removed him from the building, they searched him extensively, and found vodka on him.
The man smelt of alcohol and bad decisions. The police did not comment on if the knife was located.
A 22-year-old Cody Barnabus Beardy has been charged with:
- Assault with a weapon
- Breach of probation
Beardy was remanded into custody pending a October 2, 2018 court date.
