(THUNDER BAY, ON) – Residents in the area of the 100 block of Dease Street have reported a concerning yet almost “normal” occurence happening in the neighbourhood.
Sources indicate that a man was yelling out of a second story window at pedestrians and neighbours. Residents are convinced that the man was drunk, high, or a combination of the two.
Threats were being shouting from the top floor window. At least one 911 call was made and officers with the Thunder Bay Police Service responded and restored order to the neighbourhood, as much as they could anyways.
Four police cruisers and roughly 6 officers arrived on location and it is believed the man was at least temporarily detained. The home was entered by and searched by police.
Officers were seen taking pictures of various areas and items inside the home as they worked through their investigation. Numerous residents were also interviewed by the responding officers.
Officers were asking residents to avoid the area. Anyone with photos of the police presence / scene are asked to text them to 807-355-8917 or email them to firstname.lastname@example.org
