(THUNDER BAY, ON) – Police responded to an anonymous call of shots being fired in the 288 Windsor Street complex area just before 8:00 p.m. on August 15, 2018.
As police units arrived on scene they spoke to multiple people in the area who told officers they did not hear gun fire.
A search of the area did not reveal any damage to property, injuries or information to substantiate the information.
A male fled when being spoken to by officers. He was apprehended after a foot chase in the Brittany Drive and Carl Avenue area.
The 24 year old male was arrested on an outstanding warrant as well as charged with obstruct police for providing a false name to the officer, resist arrest and breach of probation.
He will appear in court this morning.
