(NORTHERN ONTARIO) – Officers with the Ministry of Natural Resources and Forestry are currently investigating a video that shows a live moose being dragged behind a truck on Highway 637 in northern Ontario last month.
The disturbing video shows a cow moose kicking while it is dragged down the road. The video went viral on Facebook and has sparked massive public outrage.
Facebook removed the video, however, we have had a copy of it sent to us.
The Ministry of Natural Resources and Forestry as well as the Ontario Provincial Police are both aware of the video and are working together to investigate the incident.
