(DRYDEN, ON) – Drug Charges Laid On March 21, 2019. The Dryden Police Service executed a warrant under the Controlled Drugs and Substances Act on a Dryden residence.
As a result, John George TURNER-age 39 and Donalda SMITH-age 41 are both charged with possession of cocaine.
They have been released on a Promise to Appear for a court appearance on April 29, 2019 in Dryden.
A Stolen Vehicle Recovered On March 20, 2019. The Dryden Police Service recovered a vehicle that had been reported stolen earlier that morning from a residence on Sandy Beach Road.
The vehicle is described as a 2015 Silver GMC Sierra Extended Cab truck which was located in the ditch just off Thunder Lake Road. The Dryden Police Service is looking for any information that may assist in the identification of those responsible for this offence.

A Suspicious Male On March 20, 2019. The Dryden Police received a complaint from an 18 year old female, of a suspicious male who followed her to Safeway then offered her a ride as she left the store.
The victim returned to the safety of the store until the male vacated the parking lot.
The male is described as Caucasian, 40-50 years of age, 5 feet 8 inches to 5 feet 10 inches tall, medium build with a belly, wearing a black ball cap, black and green windbreaker with silver reflectors across the mid-back layered over a black zip hoodie and a dark shirt with screened front, black baggy pants and black runners. The male wore glasses and had no facial hair.
The vehicle is reported as an older beige 4 door Sedan with silver rims, possibly a Honda with Manitoba plates.
Anyone who was in the Whyte Avenue and Safeway area on March 20, 2019, between 12:45pm and 1:15pm and may have seen anyone matching this description or vehicle, is asked to contact the Dryden Police Service.
