(RAT PORTAGE FIRST NATION, ON) – A number of buildings in Rat Portage First Nation territory were lit on fire earlier this month.
Treaty Three Police along with the Kenora Fire Department responded to the scene to douse the flames and begin the investigation.
So far, no injuries have been reported from the incident as the buildings were abandoned.
Police believe that someone is responsible for these fires and are asking the public to come forward with any information that can help investigators solve this case.
Numerous buildings across northern Ontario burn every year due to arson. Help put a stop to this trend by speaking out against those that are committing these dangerous crimes.
