(FORT FRANCES, ON) – On May 23, 2018, members of the Rainy River District Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) detachment were called to a local Fort Frances restaurant in response to a call of a break and enter.
Further on June 6, 2018, members of the Rainy River District OPP detachment were called to investigate another break and enter at the same restaurant. An investigation commenced into the two break and enters.
As a result of the investigation, a Fort Frances man, Tyler WOCKNITZ, 20 years of age, was charged with the following:
- Two counts of Break and Enter, Commit Indictable Offence contrary to section 348(1)(b) of the Criminal Code.
The accused was released on a Promise to Appear and is scheduled to appear at the Ontario Court of Justice in Fort Frances on July 17th, 2018.
