(SHOAL LAKE FIRST NATION, ON) – Police have at least one man in custody following a public safety warning that sent residents into their homes earlier this afternoon.
The First Nation of Shoal Lake #39 was warned to stay in their homes as police dealt with a man who was driving around the reserve shooting at homes.
A resident of Shoal Lake tells us that a Caucasian male in a black car was at the centre of the hair-raising incident.
Police have not reported on any serious injuries resulting from the gun-toting maniac.
Police have since lifted the lockdown that kept residents in their home.
