(KENORA, ON) – A sad situation unfolded in Kenora on October 6th, when police ended up investigating the death of a male.
57-year-old Steven Young has been charged with second-degree murder.
Justice of the Peace, Bernard Caron was presiding, along with Crown Attorney Rob Kozak and duty counsel lawyer Lianne Roberge.
Due to this matter being a section 469 type of offence, Young will be automatically detained and placed directly in front of a judge.
Young was remanded into custody pending an October 9th court appearance in Kenora.
He was sent back to his cell to await prisoner transport to the Kenora District Jail, where he will await his October 9th court date.
