(ONTARIO) – Congratulations to Ontario’s new premier Doug Ford. His party has won a majority government ending nearly 15 years of Liberal dominance.
The campaign trail has been heated with a lot of banter back and forth, and a lot of accusations and typical election cycle non-sense.
The Ontario PC Party surged quickly in the polls, doubling the NDP numbers quickly. Soon after the NDP started to make up some ground, but it was too little too late. The Liberal party trailed behind, with less than 10%.
Doug Ford came to Thunder Bay many times during the campaign and has made promises not only to the citizens of Thunder Bay but to the surrounding area. Let’s sit and watch if he fulfills those promises.
