(THUNDER BAY, ON) – Members of the Thunder Bay Police Service seized 11.4 pounds of marijuana following the investigation of a suspicious package on Friday, July 13, 2018.
As a result of an investigation, TBPS Drug Unit officers arrested two accused persons on Monday, July 16, 2018.
Israel Ruiz Robles, 24, of Fort Erie, ON is charged with:
- Possession of Marijuana for the Purpose of Trafficking
- Fail to Comply with a Condition of his Recognizance.
Sagan Venayagamoorthi, 25, of Thunder Bay, is charged with:
- Possession of Marijuana for the Purpose of Trafficking.
Both accused appeared in court on Tuesday, July 17, 2018 and have been remanded into custody with a future court date.
The estimated potential street value of the marijuana seized totals $51,900.
