ATTEMPTED AFTERNOON BREAK-IN

(THUNDER BAY, ON) โ€“ A Victoria Avenue East apartment building was the location of an attempted break and enter this afternoon.

A witness to the scene tells us that they saw a person attempting to break into the apartment complex, and that the police were called.

The suspect is described as Caucasian, roughly 5-foot 8-inches tall, around 170 pounds wearing in a grey hoodie sweatshirt and grey sweatpants. He also had scruffy looking facial hair.

This attempted break-inย occurredย around 3:15 pm this afternoon in the 1700ย block of Victoria Avenue East.

People in the area are aware of who the man is, as he is seen frequently smoking crack in the back alley behind the apartment.

It is believed he was targeting the laundry room, in an attempt to get the coins out of the machine.
