The importance of recycling batteries is tremendous for our health and the environment. Batteries may not be harmful to us while we use them, but when they are disposed improperly they can have dangerous health and environmental consequences.

Overtime, batteries disposed of in landfills leak chemicals and metals into our soil, groundwater, streams and lakes.ย Battery recycling is easy to do and it leaves a positive lasting impression on our environment and health. For more information go to http://www.Thunderbay.ca/batteries
