(THUNDER BAY, ON) โ€“ย Appearing in courtroom 104 by video from the Thunder Bay Police Service station is a youth P.M..

Her Worship, Justice of the Peace Jennifer Neill is presiding, along with Katrina van Kessel as Crown Attorney and duty counsel.

P.M. is facing the following new charges stemming from a September 10th, 2018 incident:

  • Breach of probabtion (Keep the Peace and be of good behaviour)
  • Breach of bail conditions (Be amendable to the rules of your mother/residence)
  • Mischief under $5000

P.M. also has outstanding charges brought forward via a 524 application, which stem from a January 15th incident in Gull Bay First Nation.

Those charges are:

  • Criminal harassment
  • Breach of probation

The 524 application also brings forward more outstanding charges, this time stemming from a January 16th incident in Gull Bay First Nation.

Those charges are:

  • Break and enter to commit and indictable offence
  • Breach of probation
  • Theft under $5000 (cookies)

The Crown is opposed to P.M.โ€™s release, and states that a release may be granted once a bail plan is crafted. No consent for release will be given without a surety in place.

The Crown states that the new charges are involving the accuseds previous surety.

Nobody is in court or at the police station to assist P.M. to achieve bail.

Duty counsel requests a remand to tomorrow, and will let Leon Nicol know that the accused has requested him to represent P.M.

Her Worship, Justice of the Peace Neill orders P.M. to be remanded into custody pending a September 12th court appearance.

P.M. is escorted back to their cell where they will await transport to a youth detention facility.

  1. Thus continues the path this kid will most likely continue on for the rest of their lives.
Unless the parent(s) steps in and starts doing some parenting.
How hard is it to teach your child right from wrong?

    1. Could you please regist4r a proper account on the website and it. The website has numerous attempts to post from this account. I Support free speech, but my website wants to block access to your machine due to spammy activity

  2. Thatโ€™s so sad that he didnโ€™t have one person there to support this youth. Where was his parent or Guardian ๐Ÿ˜ข this person is a juvenile, you would think it would be a law against minors going to court without support. Itโ€™s just not right in my opinion.

  3. And maybe it did. Start at a young age. Only the family knows. There could be many simulating Circumstances for that behavior, and then maybe not. Who knows.
I hope he starts following a different road.
    Peace to you โ˜ฎ๏ธ
