CAB DRIVER ASSAULTED AND ROBBED

(THUNDER BAY, ON) โ€“ย The Thunder Bay Police Service is asking for the publics assistance in locating two wanted suspects after an assault and robbery of a cab driver that occurred Tuesday morning.

Police responded to an incident this morning on McKenzie Street between Finlayson and Pruden shortly after 3:00 am Tuesday morning.

The cab driver had picked up two males around the intersection of Miles and Brodie. The suspects asked to be taken to Rowand Street.

The driver was assaulted between Finlayson and Prudent. Both suspects then fled down McKenzie on foot, heading east and making off with an undisclosed amount of cash money.

The cab driver was then sent to the hospital to receive medical attention for his injuries.

Police describe the first suspect as a Caucasian male in his late 20s, roughly 6-f00t, 2-inches tall. He has short hair and was wearing a dark ball cap and aย dark coat.

The second suspect,ย as described by police as a Caucasian male in his late 20s standing approximately 6-foot tall. He was said to be wearing a white hoodie or sweater.
