(THUNDER BAY, ON) – A REAL Concerned Citizen reached out to us regarding an auto-pedestrian collision that occurred earlier today.
Our witness tells us that around 11:30 am on Edward St, roughly 20 feet north of the intersection with Churchill Drive, a small child was struck by a vehicle.
Our information is coming from someone who passed by the scene shortly after it had happened, and there was a number of people that were pulled over, and out of their vehicles on their cell phones, likely dialling 911.
An adult woman was seen holding a child close to her on the road, very upset and crying. The child did not seem to be moving at the time or conscious.
The REAL Concerned Citizen did not stop to find out more info, as there was already numerous people assisting at the moment. No paramedics, firefighters or police were on scene as of yet.
We are trying to find out whether the child recovered from this situation. Please reach out to us at firstname.lastname@example.org if you have any information about this incident.
