(THUNDER BAY, ON) – A serious collision has shattered a north side neighbourhood this morning which had Thunder Bay Fire Rescue, Superior North EMS, and Thunder Bay Police Service respond to the scene.
The incident occcured shortly before 10:25 am this morning, and involved a motorcycle and a car. The driver of the motorcycle was rushed to hospital with unknown but presumed to be significant injuries.
A REAL Concerned Citizen who was on location, told TRCCTB in an interview that they were the person that called 911 when the incident occurred.
”All I heard was a loud BANG! It was so loud. I called 911 right away. The biker was knocked out and blood was coming out of his mouth.” Says our witness.
Thunder Bay Police officers were directing traffic, and had Junot closed to traffic, but was allowing Red River to flow at a delayed pace.
Please avoid the area until the noon hour or longer if possible, to allow the police to do their job in a timely fashion.
