(THUNDER BAY, ON) – A north side collision has caused some traffic delays, and some nerves put on edge.
Two vehicles, one being a SUV, and the other a car, have collided at the intersection of Red River Road and Rockwood Avenue during rush hour today.
The incident boomed into existence shortly after 3:30 pm today, sending both vehicles over the curb, with one vehicle(SUV) smashing into a telephone pole, and the other vehicle(car) up over the curb and onto the grass and sidewalk.
Thunder Bay Police Service, Thunder Bay Fire Rescue, and Superior North EMS responded to the scene in a very short amount of time.
We are unsure at this time if any serious injuries were sustained from this incident.
This is the second collision in that area on Red River Road within the past week.
