(THUNDER BAY, ONT) – Officers were dispatched to a residence in the 100 block of South Kenogami Street at 2:40 a.m. on June 26, 2018 after the homeowner woke to find a male in the residence.
The 57 year old female homeowner fell asleep on the couch and woke to find the male in her living room. She began to scream for her husband who was in the home at which point the suspect struck her.
He then exited through the rear door which was determined to be the insure point of entry. Police checked the area and were not able to locate the suspect.
The suspect is described as an Indigenous male, approximately 25 years old. He is approximately 6’0″ tall and is 220 lbs. with short hair.
He was wearing a light grey long-sleeved shirt and lighter blue jeans.
