(THUNDER BAY, ON) – For the second time today, Thunder Bay Fire Rescue has sounded a second alarm to get numerous fire trucks down to a Crawford Street home.
Nobody was injured this time, as the occupants were placed in a hotel room due to the earlier situation where an alleged electrical fire had broken out.
Thunder Bay Fire Rescue cleared the scene just over 2 hours ago and have responded to the same residence now for supposedly the same issue.
About 5 pumper trucks and one ladder truck responded to the location along with the Platoon Chief’s pick-up truck. Witnesses in the area could see the ladder up in the air, providing support to firefighters on the ground.
The incident is still ongoing as of the time of this writing. We will update you further as more information becomes available.
Please avoid the area of Crawford between Mary and Francis for the time being. Firefighters are currently checking the home for hotspots, and it is expected they will be monitoring the home for some time this evening.
