Scotlund Crompton Arrested For Assault on a Woman… Again


(THUNDER BAY, ON) โ€“ย Appearing in a Thunder Bay bail court this morning is a 20-year-old Scotlund Crompton. His legal counsel, Heather Scullion was present for the matter. Her Worship, Justice of the Peace Jennifer Neill was presiding along with Crown Attorney Mason.


Court hears that Crompton is on a conditional sentence order (similar to house arrest) for previous criminal charges when he is alleged to have assaulted a woman and threatened her life.

Crompton is not only on a conditional sentence order, but is currently on bail for a aggravated assault. His new charges are:

  • Assault (on a woman).
  • Uttering threats to cause death.
  • Breach of bail conditions โ€“ No alcohol.

The Crown is not consenting to his release and he is ordered to remain in custody. His lawyer, Heather Scullion scheduled a bail hearing for Tuesday. Crompton was already on bail that involved two sureties. Crompton is ordered not to contact his alleged victim.

These allegations have not been proven in court.

The TBPS have identified and spoken to the two male subjects in the video released yesterday afternoon.

Scotlund Crompton, 19 years old of Thunder Bay was arrested at 11:00 p.m. on Phyllis Street by officers with the TBPS Community Response Team on outstanding warrants for Assault with a Weapon, Assault Causing Bodily Harm, Threats, Theft under $5000 and Breach related charges.

Crompton was escorted to the Balmoral Police Station where he was further charged by investigators with the Criminal Investigations Branch with the Aggravated Assault of the 82 year old male. He appeared in court this morning on all charges and has been remanded into custody.

The investigators wish to thank the public for assisting with the identification of the persons of interest in the video.

  3. Was a tough guy. Beats up an 82 year old and a woman. Put him in jail for a bit and make sure the prison population knows his crimes. They hate guys like that. Wonโ€™t take long before he canโ€™t sit down and he will regret the shit he did.
