Passengers coming to and from the Thunder Bay Airport now have the option to access
URIDE, a local ride sharing app native to Thunder Bay, Ontario.
“We’re excited for this new partnership between URIDE and the Thunder Bay Airport.
My team and I look forward to providing reliable, affordable rides to the people of
Thunder Bay for years to come. The partnership with the airport allows URIDE to help
provide other transportation options to passengers, as well as the potential to save
substantially compared to parking options. Customers can book now, or reserve a ride in
advance. This partnership marks an important step into the future for URIDE, the airport,
and transportation in Thunder Bay”, said Cody Ruberto, Founder & CEO of URIDE.
URIDE drivers will now have the capability to pick-up and drop-off passengers at their
designated spot on the curb, right in front of the Air Terminal Building. Passengers are
also given the option to include their flight number to ensure a timely pick-up or drop-off
to and from the Airport.
“The Airport Authority is keen to work with new companies to expand the transportation
options available to air travelers to and from the Airport”, said Ed Schmidtke, President &
URIDE is available to download for free on the App Store and Google Play.
