Twister Touches Down: Thunder Bay

(THUNDER BAY, ON) โ€“ Like a scene straight out of a B movie, a small tornado-like twisty-boi touched down near an area highway today.

This video was taken by Jennifer Otto, she said she had to pull over and video the phenomenon. This video was made near the Harbour Expressway and Twin City Crossroads. The twisty-boi was seen in other areas too.

The twisty-boi was ripping through peopleโ€™s yards, causing damage as it went. โ€œTook my dads enclosed sled trailer with two machines in it. Chunks blew across Oliver road. This is the side panel hanging on our power line, the trailer was originally parked beside the truck in the background!โ€ Lindy Garbutt (2 pictures below).

โ€œ๐Ÿ˜ฎ this (twisty-boi) went down my driveway on 588 and took my hay tarp into the trees across the road!โ€ โ€“ Carole Boyko (picture below)

Nobody is believed to have died during the great twisty-boi of 2019, but no official death counts have been released at this point.

    1. Uhh, not exactly a harmless little dust devil. It picked up a trailer with two snowmobiles on it, tore off siding and damaged structures.

Running scared would be the wise thing to do unless you enjoy being thrashed around and flailed against immoveable objects.

    2. What an idiot. This is a serious situation that can easily get worse with the way weather is changing. Its ignorant people like you Guest that think nothing until its ripping through your house and possibly injuring or killing your loved ones.Stupid, stupid, stupid………

  1. Neat (and a little scary at the same time).
I kinda wondered about the metal ripped apart on Oliver Rd. A large part of the trailer body is even on the other side of the road.

  2. GUEST…….this is not about running scared.Grow the hell up.This is concerning as it could be an indication of worse to come with weather changing the way it is.Maybe you will feel different when one rips through your house.

  3. That twister had the power to rip aluminum siding off.
If it were to of hit someone, it could of cut them in half.

    I blame Trudeau.
That tit is responsible for all the crap we have to deal with in Canada
